A big shout out to FIRST NATIONS students who are NOT in their FINAL YEAR.
CareerTrackers is a national not-for-profit organisation that creates paid internship opportunities for Indigenous university students within Australia’s leading organisations. They are a professional-development program creating a new generation of Indigenous leaders in the industry - strengthening the professional voice of the community within corporate and government spaces.
They currently work with over 200 employment partners across most industries, as well as 38 universities. Within an industry-aligned with their university studies, students complete a 9-week paid internship during the Xmas university breaks at a minimum.
They are offering many internships this year to First Nations students in areas related to CRIMINOLOGY. Some of the most common placements are in policy, social work/community engagement & financial crime units of large companies. They will have opportunities arising in the coming months as they set students up for the Summer internship period, so the earlier students get involved in the program, the more potential they have at being matched with an ideal crim-related internship.
