Job Type: Casual (options to work towards permanent contract)

Salary: $29.00 to $33.00 /hour

Roles to Fill:

Support Worker Requirements

• Have experience working with people with additional needs (life experience included)

• Currently studying or completed studies in Social Work, Psychology or other Health and Social Sciences

• Basic understanding of Recovery-Oriented Practice

• Passionate about delivering a person-centred approach to working with people

• Able to collaborate with the Kelmax team and other stakeholders

• Be confident you can learn and implement the NDIS code of conduct

• Adapt your communication style to your audience

• Ability to regularly practice compassion and consistency with supports

Tasks include, but not limited to:

• Capacity building with activities of daily living

• Supporting with organisation, planning, decision making and problem-solving

• Supporting to attend appointments

• Supporting to increase the person's community and social participation (shopping, health appointments, etc)

• Medication supervision and prompting

• Domestic assistance
